Tax Team Lead

Job Description:  

  • Ensures timely and accurate preparation, filing and payment of all government reportorial requirements and reviews the necessary supporting schedules and documents. 
  • Assess the company’s practice and recommends measures to reduce unnecessary tax payments and/or save on taxes. 
  • Maintains constant cooperation with all other departments to ensure that compliance is observed. 
  • Leads the preparation, reconciliation and documentation for government audits and assessments. 

Qualifications: 

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Professional License Exam), Finance/Accountancy or equivalent. 
  • At least 4 to 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. 
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with broad range of people, including the ability to write and present reports 
  • Demonstrates a high level of analytical skill in preparation of the tax computation, reconciliation and analysis of tax practices 
  • Updated knowledge in government legislation on taxation (BIR Rulings, issuances and court decision) 
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel) 
  • Can work with minimal supervision
