Legal Secretary

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Provide administrative and secretarial legal work to the Associate General Counsel. 
  • Monitor, coordinate and schedule the appointments and meetings of the Associate General Counsel and Legal Counsel(s) with shareholders, directors and other persons on assigned matters. 
  • Coordinate with paralegals in managing and maintaining the digital database of all corporate and legal documents. 
  • Archive all corporate and legal documents properly, and ensure immediate identification of storage location. 
  • Coordinate paralegals in monitoring contract implementation. 
  • Coordinate and interact with the national, local government and judicial authorities to ensure compliance to government regulations. 
  • Maintain and keep organized the Legal Counsel Office and ensure that the necessary office supplies are available. 
  • Ensure that corporate and legal documents and files are organized and properly secured. 
  • Assist in the preparation and finalization of corporate and legal documents in relation to the following, among others: 
  • Collecting securely storing data collected from business partners; 
  • Preparing written communications for internal clients/stakeholders and business partners; 
  • Conduct legal research documents; 
  • Accomplish administrative forms; and 
  • Other similar tasks. 
  • Monitor and calendar deadlines. 
  • Provide instructions and manage the tasks of the liaison officer. 
  • All other matters assigned by the Associate General Counsel 

Qualifications: 

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Political Science, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Secretarial or equivalent. 
  • At least 4 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. 
  • Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Law/Legal Services or equivalent. 
  • Proficient in English and has good oral and written communication skills. 
  • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft office functions (i.e. Office, Outlook, SharePoint) 
  • Excellent administrative and organization skills.
