HR Supervisor - Compensation and Benefits

JOB SUMMARY: 

The Human Resources Supervisor for Timekeeping and Compensation & Benefits will be responsible in helping for overseeing, managing, and administering employees’ rewards, perks, and benefits. The role will be extremely important as you will be helping in developing programs that to improve performance, engagement, and satisfaction of the employees. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Ensures timely processing of attendance, leaves and other transactions of all employees by observing the timekeeping and payroll calendar 
  • Assists HR Associates with escalated and unresolve issues on timekeeping, compensation, and benefits 
  • Assists with payroll functions including time keeping processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and distributing (final) checks 
  • Assist the HR Manager and HR Director in designing a fair, equitable and competitive total compensation and benefits package that fits and is aligned to our company’s strategy and business goals 
  • Prepare job descriptions, job analysis, job evaluations and job classifications 
  • Assist in designing and developing compensations policies, and making sure it’s being implemented 
  • Process, verify, and maintain employee related documentation. Record data for each employee, including such information as addresses, weekly earnings, absences, supervisory reports on performance, and dates of and reasons for terminations 
  • Answer questions regarding examinations, eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information 

Required Skills/Abilities:  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. 
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
